Synopsis:
Hundreds of people are suddenly entranced and begin walking toward the ocean. Many of them build flimsy rafts that will not support them. Fearing that the people will all die, Captain Comet constructs a glass wall to prevent the walkers from reaching the ocean. He then traces their path to a single point in the ocean.
When Captain Comet reaches that point he finds a whirlpool which leads to an Atlantean city. The only inhabitant of the city is an ancient king who admits to using mental influence on the people to build a slave army. Captain Comet is unable to overcome the king, so he feigns death. Captain Comet then activates the city's hydraulic system to lift it out of the ocean. The sudden change in pressure kills the king and releases the spellbound slaves. Captain Comet then sinks the city back into the ocean.
