Synopsis:
Reports of a space creature in Earth's atmosphere draw the attention of Supergirl. When the alien lifeboat breaks up over a forested area, Supergirl must let the alien go in order to stop a fire. Panic sets in on the city as everyone attempts to stop the alien. The city council blames Supergirl for his escape and order her not to interfere. Although the alien is peaceful, he is repeatedly attacked. He finds refuge in a building basement and befriends a young boy. The boy's father summons the authorities. Despite Supergirl's pleas for peace, the council orders the creature killed. After the alien dies, the man who reported him realizes that the alien has healed his son's lame arm which was beyond the means of doctors.
