Synopsis:
A thief named the Coin robs a bank by distracting the guards with five dollar coins. The guards are blamed for the robbery. Shiera Sanders urges Carter Hall to investigate. Carter agrees only to discover that his own safe has been robbed.

Hawkman and Hawkgirl pursue the thief. Hawkgirl is wounded and captured. Hawkman asks his bird friends to help him locate Shiera. Big Red leads him to the Coin, who is ready with a trap for Hawkman. The hero uses a coin of his own to escape and capture the criminal.
