Synopsis:
Following up on the wild reports of fisherman Ed Gavitty, Hawkman searches for a sea monster. He and Hawkgirl spot the creature which devours Shiera. Hawkman mourns the loss of his partner and is unable to stop the creature. Two of his bird friends tell Hawkman that the monster is mechanical. Hawkman then fights a doll version of Hawkgirl. He eventually discovers the monster and the doll were created by Johnny Law, a toy maker. Law is killed during his confrontation with Hawkman. Shiera is then rescued.
