Comments:
This story is continued from New Gods #4 and continues in New Gods #6.
Synopsis:
Orion has been captured by Slig, one of the Deep Six, beneath the sea. He escapes and fights his way through a series of mutant creatures created by his adversary. Eventually, Orion reaches Slig and confronts him. Their battle results in Slig's demise, but not before he unleashes a giant mutant whale creature which threatens the seas.
Meanwhile, Dave Lincoln and Claudia Shane witness the arrival of Kalibak on Earth.
