Synopsis:
When their high priest dies, members of a cult from Kafoonistan come to America to seek a new priest. Doiby Dickles resembles their god, so they try to take him back to Kafoonistan. Doiby resists, so the cultists attempt to kidnap him. Doiby calls Green Lantern who rescues him the first time the cultists strike.

The cult strikes again, luring Doiby into a trap by pretending to be gangsters. Doiby is hypnotized into believing he is the cult leader. Green Lantern suspects the local Scarpo Gang has kidnapped Doiby. The gang is not involved, but wants to find the new gangsters who have invaded their territory. GL eventually rescues Doiby and stops the Scarpo Gang. The cultists then agree to worship Doiby from afar.
