Synopsis:
Slam and Shorty become radio singers while searching for a killer placing bombs in the microphones of the station's other singers. Slam begins investigating singers not hired by the station. His search leads him to Ramon Gonzales, an opera singer turned down for employment. Slam learns that Ramon has rigged Shorty microphone to explode when he reaches a low note. Slam races back to the station, but is too late to stop Shorty from singing. Fortunately, Shorty was unable to reach the note, so the bomb didn't explode.
