Comments:
This story is continued from Warlord #125.
Synopsis:
Following the apparent death of Tara, a funeral is held. Then her body is placed in a mausoleum. Tara rises from the dead and attacks Machiste alongside the Scavenger. Machiste escapes and contacts Travis Morgan.
The Warlord then leads a small group to the volcano where Tara met the Scavenger. They witness a ceremony performed by an evil sorceress in which Scavenger is being wed to the zombie Tara. The Warlord and his friends break up the ceremony. When the Scavenger is about to steal Morgan's soul, Tara regains her mind. She intercedes and is killed by the Scavenger. Morgan retaliates by killing him.
With the loss of her minion the sorceress Khnathaiti is forced to flee. Her power that was creating an eclipse over Skartaris is broken. Jennifer Morgan then places Tara's body into statis in hopes that she may find a way to eventually restore her to life.
