Comments:
This story is continued from Warlord #124 and continues in Warlord #126.
Synopsis:
In the ruined city of Shamballah, the Warlord encounters the Scavenger who has been magically altered by an evil sorceress. He now possesses the ability to steal souls. Morgan chases him away, but is briefly touched by the villain. He is weakened, so he returns to the palace to sleep.
Elsewhere, Jennifer Morgan traces the source of darkness to the recently erupted volcano. Tara leaves to investigate alone. She has an encounter with Scavenger, who steals her soul. Tara then returns to the palace as a zombie and attacks Travis Morgan. She is cloaked, so Morgan doesn't know who he is fighting. He throws her off a balcony then discovers her true identity. He believes Tara is dead.
Meanwhile, Mariah finds a cave that leads her back to Earth. She arrives in Russia and is taken prisoner by the Soviet military.
