Synopsis:
Green Lantern realizes that Tom Kalmaku has left the Green Lantern Citadel. He brings Celia Windward, one of the Chosen, with him to find Tom. At Ferris he is confronted by Smith who pretends not to be involved in the Manhunter plot. GL tracks an aircraft taken by Tom to Alaska. When he finally catches up to his friend, Tom explains that he does not want to be a part of the Guardian's plan. Smith has followed them and attacks. Green Lantern beats him. Tom is also convinced to return to the Citadel. Celia's concerns about the project are also addressed.
Meanwhile, Kilowog leaves the Citadel to take his revenge on Sinestro. Arisia follows him and prevents him from executing the former Green Lantern.
