As Byth learns to control his powers, Hawkman and the Gentlemen Ghost attack the Thanagarans and destroy the Absorbascon. Meanwhile Hawkgirl tries to get George Emmett to safety while finding the body of Joe Tracy.
When Byth finally gains control of his powers he goes after Hawkman. The Winged Wonder unleashs the power of the Absorbascon on his foe and causes him to shift forms. Hawkman then knocks out Byth and finishs destroying the Thanagaran facility. Agent Harpy escapes the destruction in the guise of Herbert Lesser.
