Synopsis:
Wally West and his neighbors are unexpectedly served an eviction notice, forcing them to vacate immediately. Wally has no place to go, and he finds that his bank account and credit cards have been frozen. After spending energy by running at super speeds, Wally can't buy food to replenish himself.
In his weakened state, Wally ends up at a homeless shelter where he is befriended by two homeless men. The Pied Piper then arrives on the scene. He has reformed and is donating food. The Piper spots a man watching them from the shadows. After his presence is revealed, the man steps out of the shadows, revealing himself as a Durlan. He shoots Wally with a weapon that knocks him unconscious.
When Wally awakens, he is alone on the sidewalk. He finally locates a passerby who tells him that Earth is being invaded.
