Synopsis:
Hal survives the nuclear explosion he created to destroy Legion. He then asks the ring to take him to another Green Lantern. Hal is taken into space and soon arrives on the homeworld of Tomar-Re. The bird-like Green Lantern teaches Hal a few things, then brings him to Oa.
On Oa, Hal meets several members of the Green Lantern Corps. He is introduced to Kilowog who becomes his training instructor. After a week, the training is interrupted by the arrival of Legion. He has followed Hal to Oa, and now demands to see the Guardians.
