Synopsis:
Two years ago, Batman apprehends Two-Face and his gang after one member of the gang, Freddie Richards, firebombed the home of police officer Anthony Wells. Following the arrest, Richards is given the death penalty.
In the present day, another member of Two-Face's gang appears in an interview claiming that Richards is not guilty. Richards is scheduled for execution in three days. Batman breaks Two-Face out of Arkham Asylum and takes him to Santa Prisca where they locate the crook from the interview. Batman also finds Anthony Wells, the supposed dead man, still alive. When Two-Face breaks loose, Batman is forced to let him go in order to bring Wells back to Gotham before Richards is executed. Commissioner Gordon does not approve of Batman's actions which have allowed Two-Face to roam free.
