Synopsis:
Slam and Shorty happen across an organ grinder who has been attacked by crooks. The gang is trying to steal his monkey, but the detectives chase them off. The monkey hides on the roof of a nearby building. The crooks return later and lure him down. Slam later learns that the gang stole monkey's from the zoo earlier. An investigation leads him to Monk Mulligan who is using the monkey's to scale the walls to a tower owned by a rich hermit. The trained monkey of the organ grinder is stealing items from inside and returning them to Mulligan. Slam and Shorty stop Mulligan and return the stolen monkeys.
