A date given on a newspaper reads January 7, 1990.
Synopsis:
After attending the funeral of an intelligence agent, Captain Atom responds to a threat at a nuclear power plant. The Atomic Skull is attempting to steal radium from the plant. Captain Atom fights him. The discharge of energy propels Captain Atom one day into the future. He is not even aware of the time jump until several hours later. During his absence his death was reported. After proving those reports false, Captain Atom battles the Skull again. This time he defeats the villain. When he returns home he learns that his daughter Peggy has disappeared.
