Synopsis:
A lightning bolt frees Solomon Grundy from the captivity of the power ring bubble. He travels across country to find and kill Green Lantern in revenge. When the JSA arrives for a meeting, they find their meeting rooms wrecked and Green Lantern missing. They split up to search for Grundy, who they believe has abducted their friend.
Each member follows clues to separate cities and has run-ins with Grundy except Johnny Thunder. Johnny only meets a Grundy imposter. After each member fails individually to bring Grundy down, they locate him together, where they discover Grundy locked in combat with Green Lantern. Dr. Mid-Nite resusitates GL, while the other finally knock out Grundy. GL then imprisons the ogre on the moon.
