Synopsis:
The gang of Squinty Dean tries to steal the secret plans of an atomic scientist. The scientist hides in the Allied Nations Building, but is killed anyway. Before dying he hides the plans somewhere in the building.

The Star-Spangled Kid overhears the scientist say the plans were hidden in a flag. He and Stripesy begin searching the flags in the building, but Squinty and his men steal them. The Kid follows the crooks and retrieves the flags, but the plans are not found.

Sylvester finally realizes that the plans were actually hidden in a flageolet, otherwise known as a flute.
