After this story, Amanda Waller returns to Belle Reve. Vixen departs for an adventure with Animal Man. During that adventure, Animal Man's powers are restored to normal. He then attends the first meeting of Justice League Europe. Therefore, these stories must occur in the following order:
Synopsis:
The Justice League enlists the aid of Amanda Waller to help deprogram Blue Beetle, whom they learn was brainwashed by the Queen Bee during his time in Bialya. Waller reactivates Beetle's programmed kill order when she uses the phrase "Bialya, my Bialya". Fortunately she is able to stop him from killing her. Next, Waller tries hypnosis to get the Beetle to recall when he was captured. However, an azrael block was inserted into Ted's mind which causes him to fall into a coma.
Following Waller's failure, Batman tries to contact Doctor Fate for help.
