Comments:
This issue is labeled:"Millennium Week 6" and is continued from Millennium #6.

Wonder Woman and Kilowog are mistakenly depicted in flashback during the battle with Highmaster in Millennium #6. Neither was actually present. They were both on Earth at the time of the battle.

Synopsis:
Superman and Green Lantern pursue the Highmaster through a dimension which defies reality. They make it through a mine field of anti-energy and eventually come to a space platform built by the Guardians. The Highmaster has set additional traps for the heroes who become separated.

Superman is trapped underground and is forced to dig in circles. Green Lantern's ring runs out of power and must evade explosive blasts from the Highmaster. GL is able to telepathically contact the Guardians who have come to the platform to mate with the Zamarons. They show themselves which is what the Highmaster wanted.

The Highmaster attacks and stuns the Guardians and Zamarons. Before he can finish them off, Superman breaks free of the trap and punches the Manhunter leader. Green Lantern then recharges his ring directly from the Guardians. Superman uses his heat vision to make the Highmaster glow red. Since the robot is no longer yellow, Green Lantern uses his ring to destroy his enemy. The Guardians then warn the heroes that the Highmaster was the Manhunter power source. Without his existence, the Manhunters will begin using suicide attacks to achieve their goals.
