The Nightshade Odyssey Part 1

This story continues in Suicide Squad #15.

Synopsis:
Amanda Waller attends a meeting with the President which she believes is the result of the fallout of the failed rescue attempt of Nemesis. Instead, Reagan instructs her and the Suicide Squad to help Senator Joe Cray get re-elected. When she refuses, Reagan orders her to comply, or he threatens to put Tolliver in charge.

Waller returns to Belle Reve and gives the order for Nightshade to go find her brother. Ben and Eve put together a team of the Squad regulars. Eve then leads the group through a portal to a netherworld. The team is immediately attacked and immobilized by Eve's brother Larry who has been possessed by the Incubus.
