Comments:
This is a Detached Service Diary story featuring Blackhawk. Stanislaus only appears as a narrator. Olaf appears behind-the-scenes between panels speaking to Blackhawk on the radio.
Synopsis:
Blackhawk is assigned to escort female war correspondent Virginia Mueller to Geneva. Mueller, an American, does not believe Hitler and the Nazis pose a threat to America. Not taking them seriously, she in unintentionally gives away the position of an Allied intelligence base. Blackhawk barely has time to evacuate everyone before the Nazis bomb it.
Still unconvinced of the threat, Mueller's actions put Blackhawk in jeopardy from enemy planes. He is forced to make an emergency landing. When the Nazis come after him, he tricks them. Only after the fight is over does Mueller finally see that the Nazis are madmen who must be stopped.
