This story is continued from Fury of Firestorm #62 and continues in Fury of Firestorm #64.

Synopsis:
The President responds to Firestorm's threat for nuclear disarmament. He asks for a meeting with the Nuclear Man at the Statue of Liberty. When Firestorm shows up, Captain Atom attacks him. The two heroes battle until Martin Stein begins having a seizure. Firestorm is unable to maintain his fusion and is forces to flee. The President then announces that he will not agree to Firestorm's demands and asks that anyone with the power to do so bring Firestorm into custody.
