Synopsis:
In the jungles of the Amazon, the Atom heads an archaeological dig which locates the star drive of the alien ship which brought the people of Morlaidh to Earth. As he examines the sphere of white dwarf material, the Atom tells the others the story of how he became the Atom.
When the tale is done, the city falls under attack by a tribe of outlanders. The Atom takes action to defend the city, and he triumphs. The Atom then returns to the lab where he finds a way to restore the people of Morlaidh to normal height, but he wonders if doing so would be a wise decision.
