Synopsis:
Hawkman and the Shining Knight rescue Shiera Sanders from execution at the hands of the Feathered Serpent, but they are unable to prevent him from initiating the rites necessary to take control of the pureblooded Mayans.
The Mayans begin creating chaos in the streets of Mexico City, armed by their Nazi allies. Johnny Quick, Firebrand, Atom, and Dr. Mid-Nite attempt to hold off the brainwashed Mayans, while Robotman and Liberty Belle protect the Mexican president from assassination by a false Serpent.
The real Serpent learns that his Nazi allies have betrayed him, so he leaves them to the mercy of the Squadron, while he snatches Firebrand as a hostage. She burns off his mystic armor, breaking the spell that has enthralled the Mayans and exposes the Serpent as a German. Having protected his country from a revolution, the Mexican president thanks the All-Star’s and gives alleigance to oppose the Axis forces.
