Synopsis:
After rescuing Corky from pre-historic times, the Time Masters link the Illuminati to Porfiro Diaz, the 19th Century leader of Mexico. Rip sends Jeff back in time with the goal of executing him. Once he arrives in 1874, Jeff meets Jonah Hex who is working as a bodyguard for Diaz. He doesn't wanted to go through with killing Diaz, but when the leader has a Spanish ambassador shot and plans to rig the election of Rutherford B. Hayes as President, Jeff concedes that he needs to eliminate Diaz. However, when the moment comes, he hesitates. Hex shoots Jeff in the arm. Jeff then returns to 1990 before Jonah can finish him.
When Jeff returns, he finds that Rip and the others are trying to evacuate the lab which is rigged to explode. Bonnie calls Cave Carson who uses his mole machine to carry out some of the equipment before the lab explodes.
