Synopsis:
Sgt. Eddie Brent, a Green Beret war-hero and brother of a friend of Dick Grayson's, turns criminal when he becomes the hypnotized pawn of the Lord of Time. Prevented from operating his own weapons by the Justice League, he has Brent do so in his stead in battles against Batman and Robin, and later, the other League members. His plan is to gain certain objects that will allow him to regain his ability to use his weapons himself.
Sgt. Brent holds Batman, Robin, and Wonder Woman at bay while he steals the first of these objects, and battles Aquaman, Green Arrow, and the Flash in quest of the second. Before the Lord of Time can finalize his scheme, though, the heroes trace his location from radiation given off by Brent's weapons, and overpower him with the sergeant's help.
