Synopsis:
Six members of the All-Star Squadron and Brainwave Jr. from Infinity, Inc. attack the Ultra-Humanite’s base inside Mt. St. Helens. They are defeated by the Secret Society of Super-Villains, but Brainwave Jr. replaces his father and arranges to exchange the defeated All-Star’s for those already trapped in limbo.
When the villains leave to begin their assault on Washington, the escaped All-Star’s team with Infinity, Inc. to stop them. With his henchmen defeated, Ultra tries to kill Superman, but fails. Cyclotron then grabs Ultra and creates an explosion which appears to kill them both, though Ultra survived to fight again in the future.
Infinity, Inc. then returns to their own time using the combined powers of Green Lantern and Jade. When they disappear, the All-Star’s still in limbo are returned, replaced by the Secret Society Villains. Firebrand and Atom agree to care for Cyclotron’s daughter Terri, and the crisis is over.
