Synopsis:
Under the red skies caused by the Crisis on Infinite Earths, Superman fails to stop the Monster Society of Evil from breaking the Dummy, an old foe of Vigilante, from jail. Following the battle he returns to the Perisphere to coordinate with the All-Star Squadron. The Squadron decides to break into teams to search for the Monster Society, the missing JSA, as well as several All-Star’s that vanished through a vortex in the sky.

Meanwhile, Oom is summoned back from the moon by the Monster Society. He takes control of the team, chasing Mr. Mind away. Mr. Mind follows a trail, intending to return to his home dimension, but he arrives on Earth-S, where in later years he will battle Captain Marvel.

Passing Mr. Mind in transit, Green Lantern, Liberty Belle, and Johnny Quick return home to Earth-2. However, Belle and Quick are caught in a white light and taken to the Monitor’s satellite in 1985. Amazing-Man and Tarantula are also present. They are informed of the Crisis and combat a rampaging Red Tornado. Then Johnny Quick joins Green Lantern of Earth-2 from 1985, Power Girl, Deathbolt, Star Sapphire, and Per Degaton on a special mission.
