Synopsis:
A criminal genius known as the Hand is given one month to live by his doctor. Before he dies the Hand wants to leave his mark on the world, so he frees five crime bosses from prison and sets them up with the blueprints to commit crimes. Not wanting his achievements to go unnoticed, the Hand also contact five heroes and informs them about the crimes to be committed.

The five heroes, Green Arrow, Vigilante, Crimson Avenger, Shining Knight, and the Star-Spangled Kid along with Speedy and Stripesy meet for the first time. They agree to split up and stop the crimes, then they plan to reunite later to deal with the hand. The Green Arrow goes after his old foe Professor Merlin. The Star-Spangled Kid defeats his nemesis the Needle. The Crimson Avenger faces off against Big Caesar in Times Square. The Shining Knight stops the Red Dragon from enslaving an indian tribe. Finally, the Vigilante rescues some kidnapping victims from the Dummy.

After the Hand's lieutenants are defeated, the Seven Soldiers reunite to go after their boss. The Hand issues a challenge to the heroes and leads them into a trap. Knowing that he will soon die, he plans to kill everyone, but then he receives word from the doctor that his condition can be treated. The heroes storm his hideout, and despite the Hand's best efforts to defeat them, he is apprehended.
